NXT will be returning to Chicago, Illinois for their next Takeover event next month before WWE hosts their Money in the Bank pay-per-view the following day. Some matches for the Takeover show had already been made official several weeks in advance, and below are SPOILERS for two of the matches that will be taking place during the show next month, both of which were made official during the recent NXT TV tapings from Full Sail University. Lars Sullivan will be taking on Aleister Black for the NXT Championship during the show. This will mark the first world title match that Sullivan has had, so it will certainly be interesting to see if Lars can become the 14th champion in NXT’s history.

The NXT Championship match was not the only Takeover match announced during the TV tapings in Orlando, Florida. It was also confirmed that Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa will face each other once again during the show. Given the fact that Ciampa first attacked Gargano at NXT Takeover: Chicago last year, and given that he injured Gargano on NXT a few weeks back, this match is definitely one to watch. It may even end up topping their match from NXT Takeover: New Orleans last month. More matches for Takeover are expected to be announced during the additional TV tapings from Full Sail later on tonight. NXT Takeover: Chicago will be taking place on June 16th.
Scoop #33: Gargano comes out mid match and announces he has signed a contract to face Ciampa in a street fight in Chicago

One of the strongest tag teams on the WWE roster at the moment is Smackdown’s New Day stable. Big E, Kofi Kingston, and Xavier Woods have been entertaining fans all over the world for years now, but perhaps it may be time to move on from The New Day. A new report from PWInsider claims that WWE is considering giving Big E a push as a singles star. Fans got a glimpse of Big E as a singles star earlier this year when The Bludgeon Brothers briefly put Kingston and Woods out of action. The New Day will face The Bar on Smackdown next week with one member of the winning team earning a spot in the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match. This report could indicate that Big E will be partaking in the ladder match next month.
