Monday’s final Raw before the Draft drew ample social media activity, providing a strong bump in Nielsen’s Twitter TV Ratings.
WWE Raw Social Media Tracking
– July 18: Last week’s Raw did not move much for Vince McMahon’s TV return, but this week’s combination of new Raw and Smackdown GMs, the final Raw before the Draft, and a rare WWE Title main event produced a bump WWE was looking for.
Raw drew a total of 176,000 tweets, up 22 percent from last week’s below-average sum of 144,000 tweets.
The number of people tweeting about Raw was 45,000, up 41 percent from last week’s 32,000 uniques.
Raw ranked #2 among series & specials on Monday night, trailing the Republican National Convention featuring WWE Hall of Fame presidential candidate Donald Trump.
Raw did flip-flop with The Bachelorette, though, which topped Raw in last week’s Twitter TV ratings.
If compared to one-off sports programming, Raw would have easily ranked #1 ahead of MLB Baseball and the NBA Summer League title game.
