Serie A side Lazio have made an approach for Montpellier attacking midfielder Ryad Boudebouz, according to our colleagues at L’Équipe.

The Algerian international is highly sought after, but is not expected to leave MHSC this month.

This has not stopped a host of sides joining Lazio in make some initial contact, with Fiorentina, Villarreal, Athletic Bilbao, Everton, West Bromwich Albion and Newcastle United all alleged to have also done so in recent weeks.
