MOORHEAD, Minn. — Minnesota State University Moorhead senior Blake Bosch has been named the Super Region 3 tournament’s Most Outstanding Wrestler by the National Wrestling Coaches Association, it was announced earlier this week.

Bosch (29-1) won his second straight region title at 133 pounds on Feb. 25. He was the top seed in that division and went 3-0 on his way to the title. Bosch recorded two wins by major decision and another by fall.

Bosch has a 22-match winning streak; his only loss came to Division I wrestler Brian Peska of Nebraska on Nov. 19.

He is ranked second in the nation at 133 pounds and will open NCAA tournament competition is Friday. He will face Anthony Sparacio of Long Island University-Post in the opening round.
