WWE Chairman Vince McMahon shocked the entire world earlier this year when he announced plans to bring back the XFL. The football league became notorious after its initial launch and subsequent closure in 2001. The project remains one of McMahon’s biggest financial losses ever, but Vince will try to relaunch the XFL in 2020 through his new Alpha Entertainment company. There are still very few details that have been revealed about the new XFL. What is known is that Oliver Luck will be working as the CEO of the league, and it was reported earlier this week that the city of St. Louis is looking into creating a team. However, new details about the XFL teams are now expected to be announced very soon.
A huge update on the future of the XFL will be arriving in just a few more days. The official Twitter account for the XFL has announced that all eight of the cities set to take part in the XFL’s inaugural season will be announced on December 5th. The team announcements are going to be streaming live on the XFL’s official website and social media pages at approximately 12pm ET. It will certainly be interesting to see what US cities take part in this potentially game-changing XFL resurrection. McMahon initially stated earlier this year that he is working on ways to make games shorter, digestible, and filled with more action. Each of the eight teams for the new edition of the XFL will be unveiled in less than one week.
The wait is almost over! This coming Wednesday, Dec. 5, we unveil our eight cities and the venues we will play in for our inaugural season in 2020.

The relationship between WWE and the United States military dates back decades. The company is always looking to give back to the troops, and WWE also hosts the Tribute to the Troops show in their honor every single year. WWE has just announced that the show will be returning once again for the 16th consecutive year this December. The event will be taped in Fort Hood, Texas on December 4th, but no matches for Tribute to the Troops have been confirmed as of yet. WWE has also not revealed when the special will be airing on television, but past Tribute to the Troops show have traditionally aired on the USA Network close to Christmas. “The Most Patriotic Show of the Year” will be coming back in just a few more days.
