It’s been over three years since Hulk Hogan has appeared on WWE programming. WWE distanced themselves from Hogan in 2015 after he was caught using racist slurs on his leaked sex tape. However, WWE announced earlier this year that Hogan would be reinstated into the WWE Hall of Fame, and “The Hulkster” also appeared backstage at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view to warn WWE Superstars about what one may say in private coming back to haunt them later on. Rumors surfaced this week claiming that Hogan could be making an appearance at WWE’s Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia on November 2nd. This tweet from Hogan would seem to add further speculation that his WWE return is imminent.
Back in the day the challenge was simple, work 300 days a year even if you’re hurt if you want to keep your spot. Today? Well maybe we’ll just have to find out, brother. HH #wwf #wwe pic.twitter.com/LHz2AiD1Ch

Actor David Arquette returned to the ring earlier this year after previously retiring from competition over a decade ago. Arquette infamously won the WCW World Heavyweight Championship in 2000, which is still the subject of controversy among wrestling fans. He returned to wrestling earlier this year and has been occasionally working on the independent circuit, and he will now be making his official debut for Impact Wrestling. Impact announced today that they will be partnering with Border City Wrestling for their 25h anniversary show, and the show will see Arquette team up with RJ City to take on Halal Beefcake. It all takes place on October 6th at the St. Clair College Gymnasium in Ontario, Canada.

WALTER continues to light up the independent circuit right now, but the current PROGRESS World Champion has been rumored to make the jump over to WWE nearly all year long. It was reported not too long ago that he and WWE reentered negotiations and they seemed to be moving forward nicely. WALTER himself addressed those rumors during an interview with Mirror Sport, and he claimed that he has no interest in joining the Raw or SmackDown rosters since it would mean that he would have to move over to the United States. Although he has no plans to start working on WWE’s main shows, the Austrian wrestler does seem to be into the idea of working for the NXT or NXT UK brands someday. “I really like NXT though, I think it’s a great product, filled with the best talent in the world and is focused on competition in the ring, which is something I enjoy.” Walter said before adding the classic “never say never” line.
