NXT Stars Wrestling at WrestleMania, Singh Brother Update, Ibushi

For some wrestlers in the business, it is their dream to one day compete at WrestleMania in front of what is typically WWE’s biggest crowd of the entire year. Some NXT stars have competed at WrestleMania in the past. For example, Hideo Itami wrestled in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 31 when he was still in NXT. With the introduction of the Fabulous Moolah Battle Royal at this year’s WrestleMania, Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that several women from NXT are scheduled to compete in the match. During the video package announcing the match last night, it was also confirmed that superstars from all brands are eligible to enter the match.
The Singh Brothers went from barely being featured on WWE television to suddenly working with the WWE Champion last year. The two brothers served as henchmen for Jinder Mahal for most of 2017, but Sunil Singh has continued to accompany Mahal to the ring without his brother Samir due to the latter’s recent injury. Samir still has several months left to go before his ACL injury fully heals, but the Smackdown star remains optimistic that he will return very soon. A recent video posted online by Samir shows that he has begun the rehabilitation process and he appears to be training once again. Hopefully, the Singh Brothers will be reunited again very soon.

One of the biggest professional wrestlers in the world today has got to be Kota Ibushi. The Japanese superstar regularly competes in outstanding matches and his recent storyline with Kenny Omega has led to the two of them being praised as one of the best tag teams on the planet. Omega has already been confirmed to compete on Ring of Honor’s Supercard of Honor event in April, but it looks like his tag team partner will also be in action during the show. ROH confirmed that Ibushi will be wrestling at the event against Bullet Club member Hangman Page. The show will mark the first time that ibushi has competed for the promotion in nearly a decade.
