NXT Announces Qualifying Matches To Determine #1 Contender To World Title

On Wednesday, WWE took to social media to announce four qualifying matches to crown the new number one contender to the NXT World Championship.

Announced by NXT General Manager William Regal are the following four matches, which begin at next Wednesday’s episode of NXT TV. The winners of the matches will compete in a Fatal 4 Way to determine the next challenger to Nakamura’s NXT Title at the NXT TakeOver: San Antonio special during Royal Rumble weekend in January:

* Tye Dillinger vs. Eric Young
* Roderick Strong vs. Elias Samson
* Andrade “Cien” Almas vs. No Way Jose
* Bobby Roode vs. Oney Lorcan
