– The reason WWE No Mercy opened up with the main event of AJ Styles vs. Dean Ambrose vs. John Cena is due to the Presidential debate was also airing that evening and WWE wanted the “main event” to take place before the debate started.

– No Mercy in Sacramento’s new Golden 1 Center drew a sellout 12,000 fans, while WWE announced it as 14,324. Even though other Smackdown live events have not drawn well, No Mercy was only the third event at the new arena and this largely contributed to the strong audience.
