Matt Cardona teaming with Josh Alexander on next Impact Wrestling

While most of the news from Hard To Kill centered around the debut of Kenny Omega, there was a notable surprise debut as former WWE and AEW star Matt Cardona picked up a win over Super X-Cup tourney winner Ace Austin.

On Tuesday’s show as Austin was running down Josh Alexander in the back, Cardona came to his aid and a tag team match featuring Alexander and Cardona against Austin and Fulton was made. This will be Cardona’s Impact on AXS in-ring debut.

Also set for next week is the Fire and Flava Fest as Tasha Steelz and Kiera Hogan will celebrate their Knockouts Tag Team Title win from Hard To Kill.

In other announced action:

Joe Doering vs. Cousin Jake: This is continuing the feud between their teams that has been going for several weeks, Doering, Eric Young and Cody Deaner Pillmanized Rhino’s leg Tuesday.
Eddie Edwards vs. Brian Myers: Myers busted in on Edwards while he was getting checked out by the doctor. Myers started complaining which led to the challenge by Edwards.
Tenille Dashwood vs. Rosemary

Then in two weeks, TJP will face Rohit Raju in what Raju initially thought was a match for Manik/TJP’s X-Division title. Raju claimed there was a stipulation TJP violated by using his alter ego and D’Amore said he would make it up to him by making the match. However, Raju thought he was getting a title shot against Manik and not a non-title against TJP.
