Santino Marella vs Super Crazy
Marella comes out without Maria while Crazy comes out draped in the Mexican flag. Grisham says it’s like Italy vs Mexico at the Olympics. Marella’s waistlock is countered into a wristlock by Crazy. Some good wrestling to start although the match got a bit sloppy as it wore on. Still a pretty good match. Here is Your Winner: SANTINO MARELLA. Post match sees no Code of Honor as both men simply go their separate ways.

Daivari vs Val Venis
Main Event time. Daivari prays on his knees in the ring before cutting a Persian promo. In the midst of saying something about Detroit Val’s music interrupts him. Val does his usual towel, kiss schtick with a hot girl at ringside. Grisham likens the girl to Maria’s younger less attractive sister. I beg to differ. Lockup sees both men tussle to some corners before Val clean breaks. Val catches Daivari unawares with a drop toehold and armbar. Val works over the arm with kneedrops, an armwringer and hammerlock. Daivari gets to the ropes forcing Val to break. Daivari comes back with a boot and slam. Daivari wastes time praying before missing an elbowdrop prompting Val to go back to work on the arm with an armwringer, shoulder thrusts, hammerlock and kneedrops. Daivari hits a running spike across the back before delivering a twisting neckbreaker for another nearfall. Daivari drives elbows into Val’s shoulderblades before trapping Val’s head in a vice type maneuver. The crowd rally behind Val who backelbows free. Daivari knees the gut before going for another twisting neckbreaker, Val tries a backslide counter but Daivari escapes and lands a clapping blow to the neck. Daivari pushes Val down into a cover for one before delivering some shots to Val in the ropes. Val off the ropes, telegraphs a backbodydrop with a boot to the head. Val follows up with a backelbow, double axehandle sledge then a double underhook butterfly suplex for a nearfall. Val tries a fisherman suplex but he can’t lift Daivari and yells out holding the side of his face. Daivari takes advantage landing some shots. Val ducks Daivari’s clothesline attempt and catches him in a half nelson slam. Val goes up top but misses with the Money Shot as Daivari moves. Daivari hooks Val’s legs 1-2-no. Daivari yells out in frustration before getting Val up, yelling at him in Persian, pointing his finger and slapping him across the face. Val to the corner, Daivari Irish whips but charges into a backelbow. Val blindly leaps to the second rope but Daivari immediately yanks him off. Val crashes to the mat, Daivari hooks both legs while placing his own on the ropes to score the upset 1-2-3. Good main event with a much better showing from Daivari this week. Here is Your Winner: DAIVARI. Post match Daivari quickly rolls outside and gets his hand raised on his way up the ramp. Daivari favours his back/head while spouting more Persian.

Grisham shills for the King Booker/Jerry Lawler showdown on Raw this week before signing off and thanking us for watching to end the show.

Best Match: Daivari vs Val Venis.
Worst Match: Snitsky vs Tony Jones.
Verdict: Good show, worth a look for the main event and the competitive Crazy/Marella matchup. Snitsky’s DUD of a match was at least kept short. Thumbs up from me.

Until next week have a good one. Shaun. Comments/praise/feedback/criticism/discussion points please direct to [email protected].
