On transitioning into wrestling:
“It has been a crazy transition, there is nothing like WWE. I was an athlete my whole life and it just blew me away, physically, mentally, emotionally, it was a lot. It was a hard transition for me, especially coming in with no wrestling background. At first, I felt like it was a big disadvantage for me, and then I realized I can use that to my advantage and show people things they have never seen before.
“One of the hardest things is trying to find myself, I didn’t come in with a character or a move set so there are so many options and I felt stuck that I didn’t know what road to choose. I can use that to create something of my own and that’s what I am trying to do right now.”
Who her favorites were growing up:
“Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Stone Cold, The Rock, they were my go-to favorites, it is cool to be able to interact with them all the time now, it’s awesome. I remember the first time I met him (Triple H), and he was like “hi, I’m Paul” and in my head I was like, that’s not Paul. He is such an incredible guy.”
On her most surreal moment so far:
“The most surreal moment has definitely been walking out for the Royal Rumble, I have never been in front of that many people before and I remember them saying I was up next and then the music hit and I remember this wave of happiness. I have watched those women on TV and it was surreal.”
