The latest episode of Being The Elite has all but confirmed what we already knew — Kenny Omega is more than likely heading to All Elite Wrestling.

The episode, entitled “How Dare You Defy Me” features a post-credits scene where Matt Jackson of the Young Bucks is talking to someone unknown on his cell phone. He says that he’s glad the mystery caller “found his phone”, a reference to Kenny Omega’s phone lost outside of the Tokyo Dome on the episode before Wrestle Kingdom.

“I can’t believe people actually thought you were going to be there!” Matt joked on his call, another reference to the annual, never-ending speculation of Omega appearing at WWE Royal Rumble.

After the two parted, the show cut to another cell phone sitting on a table, making the same “ticking” noise that Cody, Hangman, SoCal Uncensored and the Young Bucks all heard in the episodes leading up to the announcement of All Elite Wrestling.

Finally, in the closing shot a  mysterious hand reached out to turn the phone over, revealing a countdown from 9 days and 9 hours, which at the time of the video’s release, lines up perfectly with AEW’s Double or Nothing ticket announcement pool party in Las Vegas, where the promotion is expected to announce several new talent acquisitions.
