– Madison Rayne kicked off the show and said that when she came back to Impact it was supposed to be as a commentator to provide the “soundtrack” of the Knockouts division, but she’s been given one last chance by Impact management to create a moment. Tessa Blanchard came out and couldn’t believe that Madison had been given another chance at the title when young, hungry talent like herself are still waiting in line. She goes on and on and on about being a third generation star and Madison cuts her off, threatening to remind her why she’s a five-time champion. Su Yung’s music played and creepy screaming started echoing around the arena, but she didn’t come out. Instead Blanchard leveled Rayne with an elbow shot the back of the head, and left her lying.

(1) RICH SWANN def. TREVOR LEE. Insane match. Swann did all kinds of dives and combos he never busted out on 205 Live, including a tilt-a-whirl into a hurricanrana, and a Golden Triangle Corkscrew Moonsault. He got the win after a lighting quick superkick into a standing twisting frog splash, into the Phoenix Splash.

– The GWN App throwback moment of the week was an old Penalty Box Match where Raven won the NWA-TNA World Heavyweight Championship from AJ Styles, in a bout that also included Monty Brown, Abyss and Sean Waltman.

(2) DESI HIT SQUAD def. DJZ & ANDREW EVERETT. The debuting superstars were accompanied by the great Gama Singh. After a great back and forth, high-flying match, Everett had the bout put away with an amazing top rope moonsault, but Gama got on the apron and distracted the referee, allowing one of his boys to get the win with a handful of trunks.

– A vignette from Pentagon Jr. aired challenging Sami Callihan to a Mask vs. Hair match at Slammiversary.

– A short documentary on the life of Moose aired with the big man telling his story getting drafted into the NFL, deciding to leave football to become a professional wrestler, and the support of his mother and his family over the years. They need to do more of these.
