Kurt Angle Comments On Fabulous Moolah Controversy

As we noted last week, in light of social media and corporate sponsor backlash, WWE has removed The Fabulous Moolah’s name from the upcoming WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal match.

Over the weekend, WWE Raw GM Kurt Angle did a Q&A via Facebook, and below is what Angle had to say on WWE’s decision to change the match name and the current Fabulous Moolah controversy:

“Moolah deserves my respect. From what I knew about her, she was sweet, kind and amazing as a female wrestler.”
