WWE has announced a number one contenders match for Pete Dunne’s WWE UK Championship for next week’s WWE NXT episode.

The match will see Dunne’s fierce rival and former champion, Tyler Bate go one on one with WWE NXT star, Roderick Strong with the winner going on to face the Bruiserweight for the title at a later date.

The match will air on next week’s WWE NXT episode, meaning it is likely to be taped prior to this weekend’s WWE NXT Takeover Philadelphia. Both Bate and Strong reacted to the announcement on Twitter.
