TOULON HAVE BULKED up their World Cup cover by signing Fijian cult hero Sireli Bobo on a short term deal.
The 39-year-old winger – who Munster fans will remember for his try in the 2006 Heineken Cup final – had been playing for La Rochelle last season, but will stand in at Stade Felix Mayol during the tournament, with the European Champions expected to be without both Bryan Habana and Drew Mitchell.
The winger is known for his blistering pace, with an impressive strike record of 44 tries in 128 Top 14 games, after his spells with Biarritz, Racing Metro and La Rochelle.
The club confirmed the signing this morning, tweeting a picture of the 14 capped Fijian in a Toulon t-shirt.
