Bobby Lashley Challenges Brock Lesnar, Vader’s Son Thanks Sting

Bobby Lashley had been away from WWE for over a decade, so when he finally made his return earlier this year, fans immediately began to imagine which rivalries and matches the former Impact Wrestling World Champion could take part in. One match that fans have been eager to see Bobby Lashley have since returning to WWE is a one-on-one match against Universal Champion Brock Lesnar. Bobby Lashley responded to a message that Paul Heyman wrote about him on Facebook earlier today by officially throwing down the challenge for a match. With a world title opportunity on the line at Extreme Rules, it is certainly possible that Lesnar vs. Lashley could be taking place sooner rather than later.

With all due respect, it’s time for a lot of people within @WWE to simply grow up! To wit, I offer you this: https://t.co/KAIXxDWHEM … pic.twitter.com/sTqKQJJBNB

Shortly after making his return to WWE, Bobby Lashley had been involved in a feud against Sami Zayn. The rivalry carried on for a few weeks until Lashley defeated Zayn in their match at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view. With Zayn now out until 2019 with injuries, Lashley has his sights set on Lesnar and the Universal Championship, but he may have to go through Roman Reigns at Extreme Rules first. As long as Lashley can emerge victorious in the multi-man match at Extreme Rules in July, he should have a clear path to finally face Lesnar for his title at the SummerSlam pay-per-view in August. Until then, fans will just have to wait for the chance to see these two heavyweights fight each other in the ring someday.

I never ducked @BrockLesnar in college. I never had the chance to meet him earlier in @WWE. Never was in same #MMA organization. Now we’re both here again in #WWE. I’m ready. Let’s do it. I’d LOVE to fight Brock. Take that any way you want!

Jesse White, the son of WWE and WCW legend Leon “Big Van Vader” White, confirmed earlier this week that his father passed away after a battle with pneumonia. Vader had been perfectly clear with his fans that he was in poor health for a while, but his passing is still devastating nonetheless. Jesse recently talked with TMZ Sports and actually took the time to thank WWE Hall of Famer Sting, who lives right next to Vader’s home, for supporting his father during his final few months. White also added that he has created a special email address that he wants his father’s fans to start using. White is encouraging fans to send in fascinating photos, stories, or videos relating to his father at [email protected].
