The Miz and Maryse kicked off this Tuesday night’s edition of Smackdown Live at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY bragging about their “victory” over Daniel Bryan at SummerSlam.

In case you missed it, the self-proclaimed “A-Lister” used a pair of illegal brass knuckles – provided by his loving wife at ringside – to cheat his way to a big win at the hottest party of the summer.

While Daniel Bryan was on-hand at Smackdown Live to confront The Miz, calling him a “wannabe Hollywood star cosplaying as a professional wrestler,” he did not come alone, and the former world champion certainly did not get the last word in.

Making her surprise return to the blue brand, Bryan’s wife Brie Bella stormed the ring this Tuesday night and actually physically attacked The Miz, sending him flying from the ring with an assist from Daniel.

Before the segment ended, it was officially announced that Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella would team up to face The Miz and Maryse at next month’s WWE Hell in a Cell pay-per-view on September 16th in San Antonio, TX. This will be Brie’s first match since appearing in the 2018 Women’s Royal Rumble match.
