As previously reported, RAW this past Monday night saw Cesaro move to the red brand from SmackDown LIVE as part of a post-Superstar Shakeup. Dave Meltzer mentioned on a recent edition of The Wrestling Observer Radio Program that Cesaro came over due to WWE wanting to keep some of the couples together. The Cesaro roster change was not originally planned for The Shakeup.

There was reportedly a lot of negativity within WWE over Charlotte Flair & Andrade being split up in The Superstar Shakeup. Meltzer noted that there were a lot of people who were not happy with Flair & Andrade being on different rosters coming out of The Shakeup. That is part of the reason why WWE quietly brought Andrade & Zelina Vega back to SmackDown LIVE this week. Vega returning to SmackDown LIVE meant that Aleister Black had to move to the blue brand as well.

It was previously reported that The Andrade – Vega move was made, in part, at the request of FOX Officials as they prepare for SmackDown LIVE to join the network in early October on Friday nights. FOX Officials apparently felt like SmackDown LIVE lacked major Latino Superstars following The Superstar Shakeup as Rey Mysterio was also moved to RAW. FOX has plans to spotlight WWE’s Latino talents on their Spanish language channel, FOX Deportes, later this year when The Friday night move happens in October.

It was also reported, via TMZ, that Flair & Andrade are said to be getting “very serious, very quickly” in their relationship.
