FIP Champion AUSTIN THEORY vs. WWN Champion KEITH LEE

Lee completely dominated the first few minutes of the match, easily throwing his opponent around like a bag of potatoes and shaking off ineffective offense. He took it to the corner and started hammering away with brutal elbow strikes, but Theory refused to give up and came back with a dozen or so of his own shots. Eventually he managed to actually do some damage and staggered the big man with enough strikes and kicks, and hit a cutter for two. Lee responded with a Fireman’s Carry into a rolling elbow that nearly sent his opponent to the moon, for a close count of two-and-a-half.

We’re reminded that if Theory wins this match (somehow) he bragged that he would take the titles to WrestleMaia Axxess and that EVOLVE was just a stepping stone for him to get to WWE. As the announcers are telling us this Lee goes to the top rope, but Theory hammered away and tried to hit a powerbomb from the second rope, but obviously wasn’t going to pull that off. He kicked Lee in the head and somehow managed to hoist the big man up onto his shoulders, sending him crashing down with an impressive spinning neckbreaker for another nearfall. They traded back and forth for a bit before Theory got him up on his shoulders AGAIN – this time without using the ropes – and dropped him with a TKO! 1…2…3!
