First Look At Sheamus In TMNT (Photo), New Movie Franchise For The Rock?

– WWE Word Heavyweight Champion Sheamus posted the following promotional poster for the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, which features him playing the role of “Rocksteady.” The trailer for the movie will be released on Thursday.

– Speaking of wrestlers in movies, Deadline.com is reporting that The Rock has signed with New Line Cinema to star in a new action-comedy movie that will be co-produced by his company, Seven Bucks Productions. The movie will be directed by Will Gluck and written by Dave Callaham.

While there is no word on the plot of the currently untitled film, it’s expected to be a throwback to classic buddy action-comedies such as Lethal Weapon and 48 Hours. The hope is that this project will become a new franchise built around The Rock.
