Female referees Kasey Badger and Belinda Sharpe have created history after being offered full-time contracts by the NRL.
Badger and Sharpe (formerly Sleeman) have been part of the NRL's official crew since 2014 and have long been running the sidelines during NRL games but they are now part of the full-time match officials squad.
They are the first women to have been elevated into the full-time squad in the game's history.
"Everyone at this level has an ambition to make it their full-time career. It is something I have been working towards for a while now," Sharpe said.
"I'm thrilled that I am in the position now where it becomes my job and I get to be alongside the other members of the full-time squad."

NRL referees boss Bernard Sutton forecast the pair were on track to break new ground and officiate a game in March.
"What I know from both Kasey and Belinda is that when they do get that opportunity, it is because they have achieved it on their merits," he said at the time.
"We are really confident with their progression and we will monitor that and see where that takes us."
The pair have taken one step closer to achieving that honour in being elevated to the full time squad.
Sharpe now has her eye on a debut in first grade.
"That's certainly my next goal, for sure, and something I will definitely work towards," Sharpe said.
"Being in the squad certainly puts me in the right direction to aim for that.
"The resources, the facilities and the opportunities available to us now certainly assist with that.
"Having access to physios and strength and conditioning staff will only improve our refereeing and improve us as athletes both on and off the field."
