– TNA is kicking off 2016 on with a semi-live Impact episode Tuesday night on their new TV home, Pop TV, airing from Bethlehem, Pa.

TNA went the last three months of 2015 without a TNA champion. Now, they will look to start 2016 with a clear champion in the finals of the TNA Title tournament.

TNA has also announced two more matches for the show:

Bobby Roode defends the King of the Mountain Title
Beautiful People vs. The Dollhouse in a six-Knockouts tag match

– On Monday, Yahoo Music released a new theme song for Impact on Pop TV recorded by Smashing Pumpkins lead singer Billy Corgan. The theme, titled “Roustabout,” contains quick action shots of the TNA roster, but no lyrics.

– On Sunday, TNA announced a six-Knockouts tag match of The Beautiful People (Angelina Love & Velvet Sky & Madison Rayne) vs. The Dollhouse (Jade & Marti Belle & Rebel). Rebel is replacing former KO champion Taryn Terrell.

– On Saturday, TNA announced that Bobby Roode will defend the King of the Mountain Title on the first Impact broadcast on Pop TV. TNA did not say who Roode will defend against.

– TNA released a teaser video for Jan. 5 promising “The Miracle” arriving.

It makes you wonder if this is a teaser for Mike Bennett & Maria coming to TNA after their ROH contracts expired. The teaser contains a spiritual element, which would tie in with Bennett & Maria’s “The Kingdom” faction on the independents.
