As previously reported, Daniel Bryan will receive a shot at the WWE Championship when he faces AJ Styles in the main event of this tonight’s Smackdown Live. As such, he has been removed as co-captain of the blue brand’s Survivor Series team.

In Bryan’s place, the “Charismatic Enigma” Jeff Hardy will step in as the fifth member of Team Smackdown, after scoring a victory over Andrade Cien Almas. Rey Mysterio was then forced to defend his spot on the team, successfully doing so with a win over team captain The Miz.

Jeff Hardy, Rey Mysterio, The Miz, Samoa Joe and Shane McMahon will do battle against Raw superstars Braun Strowman, Dolph Ziggler, Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley and Finn Balor this Sunday night at Survivor Series.
