Kurt Angle Rejects Brock Lesnar’s Rematch Clause, Carmella Comments on Her SummerSlam Performance

A Cold Day in Hell

As seen on tonight’s episode of WWE Raw, Paul Heyman made an appearance backstage to confront Raw General Manager Kurt Angle to inquire about a potential championship rematch for his client, Brock Lesnar.

Heyman is claiming that the “Beast Incarnate” is owed an obligatory rematch for the WWE Universal Championship, after dropping the title to Roman Reigns at SummerSlam. He attempted to invoke Lesnar’s rematch clause at the upcoming Hell in a Cell pay-per-view on September 16th, but Angle stated that it would be “a cold day in hell” before he let Brock have another opportunity at the title.

Apparently, #Raw General Manager @RealKurtAngle isn't too keen on giving @BrockLesnar a rematch for the #UniversalChampionship ANYTIME soon… pic.twitter.com/qWt2I2Q3ps

In case you missed it, Charlotte Flair defeated both Becky Lynch and Carmella this weekend at WWE SummerSlam to become the new Smackdown Women’s Champion. Despite losing her title, the self-proclaimed Statin Island Princess seems to be in good spirits, taking some time out of her day to mock her fans (and haters), as per usual.

Things will definitely be interested this Tuesday night on Smackdown Live, as the Queen arrives as the brand new blue brand champion fresh off a post-match beatdown from her former friend Becky. How will ‘Mella stay in the mix? I guess we’ll just have to wait and find out.

I’m honestly overwhelmed with the amount of love & praise I’ve been getting over my performance last night at #Summerslam…….. bahahahahahahahahaaaaaa yeah right!!! Like I really care what y’all think! I’ve ALWAYS been MONEY! 🤑
