For the first time ever, the NXT Women’s Championship will be defended on the grand stage of WrestleMania, as Charlotte Flair cashes in her 2020 Royal Rumble victory by challenging the Australian badass, Rhea Ripley.

This opens up a unique opportunity for the rest of the NXT women’s division to shine, while the champion is temporarily away. As such, William Regal has announced what is sure to be an incredible ladder match, with the winner becoming the next #1 contender to the belt.

Right now the number of competitors has not been announced, but there is certainly no shortage of available talent. Current NXT stand-outs include Mia Yim, Bianca Belair, Dakota Kai and Tegan Nox, as well as relative newcomers to the brand like Shotzi Blackheart or Chelsea Green.

NXT Takevoer: Tampa Bay takes place on Saturday, April 4th.
