According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE is interested in signing independent star Lacey Lane. The report furthers it’s unknown whether WWE wants to sign her to a full-time deal, or just use her for the Mae Young Classic.

Back in October 2010, Lane did an interview on the Spinning Heel Kick Podcast, and revealed she was offered a WWE deal, but when her medical tests showed she was dealing with arthritis in her knee, WWE rescinded the contract offer.

Lane is a graduate of the Team 3D Academy and had her initial WWE tryout back in February of last year.
