LOOK: Former World Champion Makes a Shocking Appearance at the G1 Supercard

Former NWA World Heavyweight champion The Great Muta made a shocking appearance at the G1 Supercard on Saturday, April 6.

Muta participated in the Honor Rumble, which took place during the kickoff show. Fans in Madison Square Garden blew the roof off the building when Muta hit the ramp. Muta and Jyushin “Thunder” Liger were the final two men in the Rumble and it looked as though one of the legends would win the match.

But Kenny King, who was out first, suddenly jumped into the ring and threw both Muta and Liger out.

However The Great Muta and Jyushin Liger got the last laugh and shared the ring together once again as the crowd roared its approval.

The G1 is a major pro wrestling event cross-promoted by New Japan and Ring of Honor. The event gained notoriety when it sold out the Garden back in 2018 in a matter of minutes.
