Speaking to our colleagues at RMC, Lyon President Jean Michel Aulas confirmed that a deal with Tottenham Hotspur for the sale of Cameroonian striker Clinton N’Jie was close.

“I have spoken to Daniel Levy on the phone numerous times. We first deal with the important arrivals. We don’t need the money. As soon as the arrivals are agreed, we will deal with the departures. We are close to an agreement. As soon as our acquisitions as made, we will advance. I thank Daniel for having made a respectable offer. I am waiting for a call to advance further with Tottenham.”
