RMC report that Premier League side Manchester United’s inability to sign a central defender during their summer window has forced Lyon to abandon attempts to sign Swedish international Victor Lindelöf.

The centre back was the subject of contacts from Lyon, but the Red Devils will not shift any central defenders this summer after failing to bring a number of targets in.
