Argentinian tactician Marcelo Bielsa will arrive at Ligue 1 side Lille before the end of the season after accepting to become the club’s new manager, according to RMC.
The appointment of Franck Passi, which should be official tomorrow, as a replacement for Patrick Collot, who was serving as the interim manager.
Passi will have two jobs when his appointment becomes official: one, to save Lille from potential relegation to the French second division and two, to prepare the squad for Marcelo Bielsa’s arrival.
The former Marseille boss is expected in Lille before the end of the season, but will be in the background until the end of 2016/17. Passi will be the number one until the end of the current campaign. Even if Lille are relegated to Ligue 2, Bielsa will still join the club, according to the report.

Passi has replaced Collot for two reasons: he has an existing relationship with Bielsa and speaks Spanish, and the Lille board did not feel that the results under Collot had improved upon the performances under Frédéric Antonetti.
