Monaco will play PSV Eindhoven in Champions League qualifiers – full draw

As confirmed by UEFA, Ligue 1 club Monaco will face Dutch outfit PSV Eindhoven in the third qualifying round for the Champions League group stages at the start of next month after the draw was made today.

Having finished third in Ligue 1 last season, Monaco will again face two rounds of qualifiers to make it into the group stages of Europe’s premier competition. The draw was, as always, divided the into two paths – the champions path of league winners from lower ranked leagues, and the league path, for those like Monaco who qualified without winning their domestic top flight. The champions path draw is as follows and includes unresolved matches from the second round of qualifiers:

Having edged past Sparta Prague in the last season’s third round, Monaco were dumped out of the Champions League by Shakhtar Donestsk in the final play-off round under former coach Niko Kovač. The draw for this season’s play-off round will be made on August 2nd while the third round first legs will be played later that day and the day after before return legs take place a week later on the 9th.
