PSG late last night announced that Brazilian attacker Neymar had suffered damaged to his 5th metatarsal on his right foot, the exact same metatarsal that he required surgery on before the World Cup last year.

The nature of the treatment will depend on the evolution of the injury in the coming days.

The PSG communiqué states: “All therapeutic options should be considered,” which suggests that another operation is not out of the question.
