New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) recently held the second night of their New Japan Cup Event which is a single elimination tournament that lasts for 12 days and the winner of the said tournament will get an opportunity to face IWGP Heavyweight Champion “Switchblade” Jay White for The IWGP Heavyweight Title at The G1 Supercard Event in New York City’s Madison Square Garden on April 6th. The show emanated from The Aichi Prefectural Gymnasium in Aichi, Japan and it was headlined by “The Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada taking on “Big Mike” Michael Elgin in a New Japan Cup First Round Match as the main event.
