AS Monaco have confirmed the departure of Portuguese international attacking midfielder Rony Lopes to Andalusian side Sevilla.
ASM signed Lopes in 2015 from Manchester City and was notably voted as the club’s player of the signing in 2017/18 in a campaign in which he scored 15 goals and four assists.
The fee is undisclosed, but is reported to be €25m plus a sell-on percentage clause – a coup for Sporting Director Monchi, even if the player has struggled in the last 9 months with his form.
