Rennes winger Paul-Georges Ntep appears to be closer and closer to a January exit out of the Ligue 1 club, with 6 months left on his current contract.

The player is understood to be in advanced talks with Bundesliga side Wolfsburg, with reports coming from Le Parisien at the beginning of the week that Ntep had in fact decided definitively that this was the club that he wanted to join, with Rennes and the German outfit negotiating to strike a deal.

In the meantime, L’Équipe report this morning that the French winger is the subject of intense interest from Crystal Palace, who are looking to bolster their squad for the second half of the Premier League campaign.
