PW Daily Report: Enzo Amore Makes it Clear He’s Not Bill Cosby, MITB Updates, Mr. Punk Goes to Washington

Enzo Breaks the Internet

Enzo Amore returned to the internet this Monday releasing a brand new music video on World Star Hip Hop. That sentence alone should be enough to tell you exactly what we’re dealing with. In just under five minutes the former WWE star managed to offend the sensibilities of nearly every human being on the planet, set a new low for the already abysmal genre of mumble rap, reference Bill Cosby’s rape trial, grab his own penis several times, and trash the image of wrestling fans – perhaps the last subset of human beings that can tolerate his bullshit.

– It was officially confirmed that Bobby Lashley will face Sami Zayn, marking The Destroyer’s first WWE pay-per-view singles match since the 2007 Great American Bash, where he challenged John Cena for the WWE Championship.

– With all eight names qualified, we now have a full look at the field for this year’s women’s Money in the Bank ladder match. Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair and Naomi will be returning for their third go-around, with Sasha Banks, Lana, Alexa Bliss and Ember Moon all appearing in the bout for the first time. What’s interesting is last year, the idea of Lana competing in a ladder match that only had FIVE competitors was put over as a joke, while this year – and keeping in mind she’s barely wrestled over the last year – she qualified legitimately, and nobody batted an eye.

– Samoa Joe defeated Daniel Bryan and Big Cass in a triple threat match to earn the last spot in the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match. He’ll be joining Braun Strowman, Finn Balor, The Miz, Rusev, Bobby Roode, Kevin Owens and a member of The New Day still to be announced. Big E actually pinned Miz on Smackdown Live this week, and it’s expected that he’ll be the last member of the ladder match announced, which would mark his first time.
