Rated-R Royal Rumble: Edge Returns From Career-Ending Injury After 9 Years

In the immortal words of Vickie Guerrero… HE’S HERE! HE’S HERE!

The Rated-R Superstar has returned to the ring nearly 9 years after being diagnosed with cervical spinal stenosis, effectively bringing his wrestling career to an unexpected end just days after retaining the world heavyweight championship at WrestleMania.

Edge shocked the world this Sunday night as a surprise entrant in the 2020 Men’s Royal Rumble match, entering the annual bout at #21. Not only did he spear numerous Superstars, but he worked together with long-time friend and rival Randy Orton, before turning on and eliminating his former tag team partner.

We are looking to confirm this with WWE officials, but word making the rounds right now is that Edge’s Rumble return will not be a one-time thing. He has reportedly signed a multi-year contract with the company.
