This first RAW after Backlash starts with a recap of the Backlash. Fatal Four Way Elimination Match. JBL was eliminated by Cena through an STFU. Then Orton quickly eliminated Cena with a kick to the head. It was then down to HHH and Orton. Orton missed a kick to HHH’s head and then he missed an RKO. HHH hit a pedigree and managed to cover Orton for three.
Music and pyro.
HHH’s music and the fans go wild! He comes out in sunglasses and a leather jacket. The lights come up and he opens the leather jacket to Show the newly won title belt. He then takes off the jacket and comes to the ring. He spits his water and smiles widely. HHH enters the ring and poses on a corner with his strap. His music finally ends and he takes in all the cheers. He points all around at the fans who go even wilder.
He finally speaks. He says he has an announcement to make. He hates to be a downer, but as of right now the ‘age of Orton’ is officially dead. 8 months ago he stood behind that curtain… “HHH” chants. He stood back there ready to make a come back after being out a year, not knowing if he’d truly be able to do it, be able to be back. He can now officially say, “The Game is back!” He says he knows…
He’s cut off by Orton’s music. Orton, in wrestling gear, comes to the ring. He says that HHH doesn’t get a victory speech. He asks if HHH is actually proud of what he did last night. He asks if HHH knows the odd that were stacked against Orton.
HHH says Orton came to him saying he knew he’d walk out the champ, but now the odds were stacked against him.
Orton says he’s so dominant they couldn’t put him against anyone one on one.
HHH says Orton wouldn’t face anyone one on one he needed others to fight his battles.
Orton says not even HHH can stand up to Orton. In three weeks orton will enact his rematch clause. He held the title for six month.
Yes, and Orton ran his mouth for six months. When HHH ran his mouth, telling everyone he’s great, he was telling the truth. He says he thinks everyone’s sick of hearing him run his mouth, so he should get out of HHH’s ring.
Orton says it’s his ring and he’s not going anywhere. Not HHH or anyone else will tell him any different.
HHH hauls back and nails Orton with the mic. Orton falls and rolls from the ring. Orton says he won’t wait for Judgement Day. He says HHH’s lasts title reign didn’t last even 24 hours and neither will this one as orton’s going to use his rematch clause tonight. Orton stomps off and HHH raises his belt high above his head in the ring. Orton slowly backs up the ring glaring, HHH smirks back from the ring.

Mickie James’s music and she comes bouncing out with the rest of the face Divas for a 12 Diva rematch from last night. To Beth’s music the heel Divas come out to the ring. Leyla’s boobs are barely covered.
The ref doesn’t have time to get things in order and all heck breaks loose. It ends up being Kelly and Beth in the ring. She gets tossed around and slammed into the heel corner. Vic tags in and throws Kelly down hard. A swinging side slam gets reversed by Kelly into head scissors, but she can’t tag out. Melina tags out, attacks Kelly and covers for two. Michelle grabs Melina from outside and lets Kelly get a cover for two. Kelly ends up back in the heel corner and Jillian tags in. Kelly is able to tag out and Mickie tags in. Mickie fights back against Jillian and Vic who attacks from the outside. Leyla kicks Mickie in the back from outside but Mickie is able to roll up and bridge Jillian for three.

JBL’s music and his limo comes out as far as it can. Highlanders are in the ring, Robby is wrestling. JBL gets in the ring and glares at Robby.
JBL glares some more, they lock up and Robby is backed into a corner. A suplex to Robby and JBL drops a couple elbows in the center of the ring. A clothesline from hell and JBL covers for three.

JBL tells Rory to get in the ring, but he refuses. JBL leaves the ring and goes to the announce table. He puts on a head set and says it should have been Cena. Cena stole from him the most important thing in the world. He’s now challenging the winner of tonight’s match and he’s going to destroy Cena.

WWE Slam Of The Week – Murdoch and JTG in the ring, Murdoch hits a cross body but JTG rolls through for the cover and three. Murdoch and Cade get into it a bit.
London and Kendrick come down to the ring. Cade and Murdoch come down to face them.
Cade takes London down. Back body drop to London and Cade covers for two. Murdoch tags in and stomps London. An elbow to London and Murdoch covers for two. Cade tags in and Murdoch holds him to stomp. “Boring” chants. London lands on his feet from a back body drop. Brian tags in and takes it to Cade. Cade pushes Brian off and into Murdoch who goes off the apron. A hard clothesline to the back of Brian’s head. Murdoch begs to come in and quickly gets rolled up for three.

Cade tries to get in Murdoch’s face but Murdoch leaves the ring and grabs a mic. Murdoch gets on the announce table and starts singing (beautifully!!!) ‘Friends In Low Places’!!! He gets worse as he sings, but he’s not bad at all, even though he gets heat from the fans. He just keeps singing and ends beautifully too. Cade glares, then stomps out of the ring and leaves.

Paul Burchill and his sister come to the ring. Super Crazy is in the ring. Katie Lea talks about how Regal has granted their request to make it a two on one handicap match. Crazy looks lost.
Katie is about to attack SC when Paul does. Paul slams him around then Katie gets in the mix. Paul holds SC and Katie kick him in the face. SC is slammed into a corner. Paul whips Katie into the corner but SC moves. SC slams Paul around and climbs. A beautiful moonsault but Paul moves and SC splats. Katie comes off the corner with a mistle dropkick. Paul uses his finisher and Katie covers for three.

Out back Grisham is with Orton. He asks if Orton has any second thoughts about facing HHH tonight. Orton gets in Grisham’s face and says, “NO!”

Kennedy! He comes out to the ring looking pissed. Regal looks really mad. They get in each other’s faces. Kennedy says he’d like to be the first to congratulate Regal on becoming KOTR. He’d like to, but can’t. Who’s the biggest star who wasn’t invited. Who, if been there, would have won it? Who’s the guy who’d like to challenge Regal to find out who the real KOTR is.
Regal cuts him off. He says he’s not a regular wrestler, he’s the GM and KOTR. He demands an apology.
Kennedy says’s his name loud and clear rather than apologizing. Regal attacks him the second time through his name. Kennedy starts fighting back and refs rush the ring to break it up. They are throwing punches and kicking like crazy. The refs get them apart and Kennedy is bleeding a tiny bit, Regal looks crazed! They get Regal out of the ring, but he’s still bug eyed and crazy looking as he stares at Kennedy.

WWE Rewind – last week when Cody takes Santino apart with the mic post match. Cody and Holly beat down Santino and Carlito.
Santino and Carlito come out to the ring to Santino’s music. Santino says he wants to make one thing perfectly clear, he doesn’t like New Jersey. He doesn’t like fake Italian stereotypes and fake Italians. They make him crazy. Cody and Holly come out to the ring, Cody is facing Santino.
Santino throws a couple shots anc backs Cody into a corner. More blows to Cody and Santino is in control. Cody gets slammed down and Santino covers for two. A chinlock on Cody in the center of the ring. Cody gets to his feet and out. Santino hits a hard hiplock and covers for two. A hard shot to Cody’s back and into a camel clutch. Holly encourages from outside and Cody gets to his feet with Santino on his shoulders. Cody falls back slamming Santino. Both are down for 6. They both get up and Cody takes Santino down with a dropkick and then slams Santino face first into a corner. Santino uses the ropes to cover but Cody kicks out. A hard right and then a DDT to Santino. Cody covers for three.

Holly rushes in to raise Cody’s hand and give him his belt. They leave the ring together, then Cody goes back in for a mic. Cody puts on a fake Italian accent and taunts Santino. He starts saying something about Santino winning the Tag Titles, but he’s cut off by Carlito and a back stabber. Holly rushes to the rescue, but Carlito and Santino get out of the ring before he can get to them.
Out back Y2J is in a tux and heading to the ring for the Highlight Reel.

Y2J comes out to the ring looking dapper in his tux. He’s all smiles tonight. He gets behind a podium and invites us to a special edition of the Highlight Reel. He has a special award for best acting by a wrestler.
– Don Muroco and Mr. Fuji for Fuji General – Shows a bad soap opera type clip of them and a nurse.

– HBK – for pretending to have a knee injury to beat Batista at Backlash, video form last night.
He opens the envelope and is all shocked the award goes to HBK. He announces HBK who comes limping to the ring.
Y2J tells HBK he gave a masterpiece of a performance. He thinks HBK should give the fans a speech.
HBK says he’s hurt.
Y2J says the charade is over. It’s done. He told Batista he’d do anything to with the match. No one goes from pious creature to backstabbing bastard as fast as HBK. HBK deserves this award. Tell everyone what he did. Look into the camera and tell Batista, “Gotcha!” “HBK” chants. Y2J says kudos to HBK’s performance and calls for HBK’s music.
Y2J leaves the ring clapping as HBK stands there glaring at his retreating back. HBK looks about ready to cry.
HHH is out back getting ready for his match.

Santino is out back and says one thing always makes him happy. He’s talking about a certain one from behind ‘her’ back and the ‘junk in her trunk’. He taps her on the back and Piper turns around. He’s all excited but insults Piper. Piper ends up bitch slapping Santino who wanders away. Piper asks, “Does that boy have a death wish, or is he just special?”

Orton’s music and he comes down to the ring. JR and King are talking about how Regal has been on a tirade since Kennedy disrespected him during the coronation.

HHH comes down to the ring in another full entrance. Orton is seething outside the ring. Lillian announce them both and the match. The ref pats them both down.
They lock up and they jockey for position on the ropes and in corners. The ref finally breaks them up. They glare and talk smack before locking up again. Side headlock on HHH. HHH pushes out but Orton gets a shoulder block. HHH stares up at Orton in a bit of shock. Orton looks cocky. Side headlock on HHH. HHH can’t push out as easily this time and HHH has to muscle out and puts Orton in a hammerlock. HHH locks on the side headlock. Orton powers out and runs into a shoulder block. They go back and forth until HHH counters a hiplock and hits a clothesline for two. HHH gets backed into a corner then whipped. HHH moves and Orton nails the ring post with his shoulder. Orton climbs out and HHH throws Orton shoulder first into the ring post again. Orton flops out to the floor. HHH follows him out and slams Orton’s arm into the ring post then the stairs. HHH enters the ring and hits a couple arm wringers to Orton. Orton rolls from the ring and HHH follows him out. HHH slams Orton’s arm to the top of the barrier. HHH tosses Orton back in the ring. Orton catches HHH in the face as he tries to re-enter through the ropes. Both are down in the ring.

Orton is clubbing HHH around the ring. HHH just can’t seem to get a shot in. HHH is cornered but is finally able to come back with blows but then runs into a dropkick. Orton covers for two. Headlock on HHH in the center of the ring. HHH slowly works to his knees then his feet. HHH goes back to one knee. HHH looks out of it but starts fighting back and gets to his feet. He pushes Orton off and briefly locks on a sleeper. Orton suplexes out of the hold. Orton uses this to stomp his way around HHH. Orton drops a knee and then stomps some more. Orton drops another knee and covers for two. Orton chokes HHH for a four count on the second rope. HHH rolls onto the apron and Orton goes outside. HHH gets his face slammed into the barrier and the stairs. HHH rolls back in with Orton following. Orton covers for two. Orton throws forearms and locks on the chinlock again. HHH is down on the mat but slowly works to his feet and slams out of the hold. HHH rushes Orton in a corner and runs into a big boot. Orton is measuring HHH up for the RKO. HHH slowly gets to his feet but HHH pushes him off and into the turn buckle and possibly the ring post. HHH is able to come back with rights. Face buster to Orton. HHH takes Orton down with a high knee. Power slam from Orton and he covers for two. Orton ducks a clothesline but runs into a high knee. HHH covers for two. HHH beats Orton down in a corner until the ref makes him back off. Inverted back breaker to HHH for a long two count. Orton goes out to the apron and slowly climbs. HHH knocks his feet out from under him and Orton lands in a painful way up top. HHH sets up for a superplex but Orton throws a bunch of punches. It doesn’t work and HHH gets the superplex off. Both are down but HHH manages to cover for two. A thumb to HHH’s eye. Orton tries for an RKO but is pushed off. HHH tries for the pedigree but is pushed away. Snake eyes to HHH. HHH locks on the cross face.
Regal is in the production trailer. He’s pissed an says the fans don’t deserve to see the end of the match. The guy won’t listen to him until Regal screams and forces the screen to go to black.
The screen is black but JR and King are talking about how Orton is still in the cross face and can’t get to the ropes. The whole Show then cuts off…
