Rey Mysterio On Whether Or Not He Will Turn Up At WrestleMania 34

Rey Mysterio recently appeared as a guest on the Showtime sports talk show, Below The Belt with former UFC Heavyweight contender Brendan Schaub.

There have been rumors that Mysterio will end up being Braun Strowman’s mystery partner for his tag-team match against Cesaro and Sheamus, however Mysterio revealed that a torn bicep will likely keep him from working WrestleMania 34 next month.

“Unfortunately I just suffered a torn bicep three weeks ago,” Mysterio said. “I opted not to get surgery. It’s a full tear, but I’m just going to sit back, do some therapy for it and hopefully I’ll be back next month.”

Although he’s not expected to wrestle at the show, which takes place at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, he did admit that the lineup looks solid this year.

“This one’s going to be off the hook,” Mysterio noted. “There’s going to be a lot of good matches.”
