Seth Rollins has been on a roll ever since he won the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania earlier this year. Rollins has been proving that he truly is a fighting champion by taking on all challengers in highly-competitive matches. His next challenge took place at Money in the Bank when he went one on one with Elias. Elias may have been confident that he was going to win the Intercontinental Championship, but in the end, it was Rollins who once again retained his title and emerged victorious. Rollins will likely continue to put his title on the line against Elias or a different member of the Raw roster. For right now, it looks like the Intercontinental Championship will be staying with Seth.

One of the big mysteries going into the Money in the Bank pay-per-view last night concerned which member of The New Day would be selected to compete in the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match. The New Day defeated The Bar on Smackdown several weeks ago to earn a spot in the match, but only one member of the trio was allowed to take part in the match. During the main event of the show, Big E originally walked down to the ring only to be stopped by Xavier Woods. He too began to walk down the ramp until he suddenly ripped off his shirt and declared that Kofi Kingston would be participating in the match. Unfortunately for The New Day, Kofi came up short as the match was won by Braun Strowman.
Anyone that knows the New Day knows it’s gotta be @TrueKofi!

It appears that the feud between Daniel Bryan and Big Cass may have come to a definitive end during last night’s Money in the Bank pay-per-view. Bryan already had a submission victory over his much taller opponent from their match at Backlash, and he has just managed to get another one. During Money in the Bank, Bryan proved that size does not matter when it comes to pro wrestling as the former WWE Champion was able to once again successfully make Cass submit to the heel hook. After the match was over, Daniel Bryan was interviewed backstage and suggested that Cass “started to get tired” during their match. Feel free to watch the full interview down below:
