Sexy Star Pulled From Appearances, Asuka Update, New WWE Signees

The incident involving Sexy Star and GFW’s Rosemary continues to spark more backlash towards Star. At AAA’s Triplemania show over the weekend, Sexy Star began shooting on her opponents during her match, and she appeared to deliberately injure Rosemary after an armbar submission attempt. Multiple wrestlers in the business have condemned Star, including Rosemary herself. WrestleCade has now pulled Sexy Star from a future convention and has refunded all of those who purchased tickets to meet her. Wrestle Circus has also announced that they do not condone what Star did, and they admitted that she has acted unprofessionally when appearing for them in the past.
In case you haven’t heard by now, Asuka surrendered her NXT Women’s Championship during a set of NXT tapings due to a collarbone injury. She is reportedly going to be joining Raw when the injury heals up. Asuka was never beaten for the title and she remains undefeated in her WWE career. The Dirty Sheets podcast is now reporting that WWE is planning to continue the streak and to have “The Empress of Tomorrow” win the Raw Women’s Championship not long after she debuts. Asuka should be healed from her injury in about 6-8 weeks. Pro Wrestling Sheet’s James McKenna previously reported that Asuka will be debuting on the main roster at the TLC pay-per-view this October.
