Sri Lankan Cab Driver Risked His Own Life To Help Stranded Indian Finance Consultant

At a time when Sri Lanka have lost more than 300 people in serial blasts, there were some heroes who risked their lives to make sure that no more casualties take place and the victims reach safe places as early as possible. One such man, who helped a person in distress was cab driver Irfan.

25-year-old Ashwin Rangarajan, who is a finance consultant from Bengaluru, was scheduled to leave for India on Sunday. His flight to India was to take off 12 hours later but he was caught in the aftermath of the blasts. He managed to reach the airport and India subsequently. The person responsible for this was the Uber driver Irfan, who maintained his calm amid the chaos and ensured Ashwin reached the airport in time, the Times of India reported.
