TRIBECA, NY — Taylor Swift’s repeat stalker took a plea deal Monday for busting into the pop-star’s Tribeca townhome last month, the Daily News reported.
Roger Alvarado, 23, was arrested for the third time last month after using a ladder to climb to Swift’s patio on Franklin St. He has already served six months behind bars after breaking into her home last April and using her shower.
On Monday, Alvarado, of Florida, took a plea deal for the most recent break-in, the News reported.
He could get two to four years in prison after his sentencing on April 15 in Manhattan Supreme Court, according to the News.
The repeat-stalker told the New York Post in a jail house interview in March after his third break-in, “I don’t regret it.”
“I just wanted to speak to her, to talk to her. She seems nice [and] cool,” Alvarado told the Post.
According to the News, Justice Laura Ward told Alvarado that the restraining order against him would still apply while he’s behind bars.
“Don’t think that because you’re in jail, you can reach out to [Swift],” Ward said, as reported by the News.
