— January 4th is sure to be a night where TNA Wrestling pulls out all the stops in hopes of drawing a strong rating in its first head-to-head battle with WWE’s Monday Night RAW. It’s been reported that WWE champion John Cena will be unavailable to appear on RAW due to a scheduling conflict and now it appears two of the most recognizable names in TNA will also be on the slidelines that night. Team 3D’s Brother Ray and Brother Devon will not be at Monday Night iMPACT! as the decorated tag team is booked for New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Tokyo Dome show that day, according to PWInsider.com.

— Earlier this week, TNA president Dixie Carter wrote a message on Twitter that TNA would be getting a prominent billboard ad in New York City’s Times Square. The billboard is now up, features Hulk Hogan and is promoting TNA’s 3-hour live Monday Night iMPACT! special on January 4th.
