Talent Advertised for Christmas Raw

As noted, this year’s edition of WWE Raw will be airing on Christmas night, with the following week’s Raw airing on New Year’s Eve.

Raw on Christmas, along with Smackdown Live the following night, will be broadcast from The Allstate Arena in Chicago, and as of now the following names are being advertised for Raw: Sheamus and Cesaro, Raw GM Kurt Angle, Alexa Bliss, Kane, The Miz, Samoa Joe, The Shield, John Cena, Braun Strowman, Finn Balor and Bray Wyatt.

In related news, WWE is advertising Daniel Bryan will be special guest refereeing a WWE Title match between Jinder Mahal and AJ Styles on Smackdown Live the night after Christmas. It’s unknown whether or not the match will air on television, however, Bryan was reportedly added to the match as the referee in hopes of boosting sluggish ticket sales for Smackdown, which is the second night of a back-to-back taping at the same venue as Raw.
