#10 – Dean Malenko vs. Scotty 2 Hotty at Backlash ’00

It’s not too often that you see Scotty 2 Hotty on one of these Top 10 lists, and even less often that you see the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship mentioned.

This forgotten gem is the product of an undercard feud between Too Cool and The Radicalz that culminated in a six-man tag team match at WrestleMania 2000. With Grand Master Sexay injured heading into Backlash, Scotty got a brief window to run as a singles star and actually had a few decent matches with one Dean Malenko. This is by far their best one. Of course, it’s hard for anyone to have a bad match with the great man of 1,000 holds.
