New NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler reportedly suffered a minor ankle injury during her match against Kairi Sane at WWE Evolution. Dave Meltzer reports that the injury is not serious but she is on crutches (at WWE’s request) and likely won’t be wrestling for a couple of weeks. Jason Jordan remains sidelined due to complications after neck surgery. Meltzer on a recent edition of The Wrestling Observer Radio Program suggested that the fact that we don’t hear much about his status is not good news. Jordan had trouble with his grip strength and they hope that he gets it back but he had a “pretty serious injury” and remains out indefinitely.
