Speaking to RMC this evening following a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Borussia Dortmund, French international and PSG central defender Presnel Kimpembe sought to protect his side from criticism on the tactics employed.

“It was a difficult match against a good Borussia team. We made a lot of technical mistakes, in the first and second halves. We were not able to create chances to score quickly enough. After equalising, we conceded the second very quickly, it was a blow to our morale. This has nothing to do with formation employed, we are the ones who play, it is the same players on the pitch, it is up to us to show desire and what is required to take points. This evening, we lost but we have another match to come at home.”

On what needs to be changed for the 2nd leg:

We are going to work on that in training and we will see how the 2nd leg at the Parc des Princes goes.
